Comments:
Hospice Care of California is a program of palliative and supportive
services which provides physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care for dying persons and their families. Services are provided by a medically supervised interdisciplinary team of professionals and volunteers. Regardless of the setting, Hospice Care of California seeks to offer support to terminally ill patients so that their final days may be spent with dignity in a setting appropriate for their care. Services are available 24 hours/day - 7 days a week. Hospice Care of California also offers guidance to family members and staff during the terminal phase of an illness and through supportive bereavement services after the death occurs (family is intended to include the immediate family and/or friends as designated by the patient).
